Testing information is one piece of the puzzle, applying this to your training is another.
Training at the highest possible level can only be done with a good knowledge of overall aerobic fitness and performance potential. Metabolic analysis of provides a clear look at oxygen consumption efficiency and is the standard endurance athletes use to determine ideal training intensities. It is a very effective way to evaluate the training progress. After determining heart rate, power, respiration, and energy expenditure efficiency profiles, we can construct accurate training zones based on both heart rate and wattage and energy (fat/carb) relationships.
Also included is a full respiration profile, something only a few coaches in the world are able to do properly.
These metrics aren’t just for the high-end racer. Learning about your body’s metabolic processes helps you understand and personalize both your training and nutrition, improving your performance and health.
By evaluating data taken from this test, we can also consider the potential benefits of respiration training as a means to improve performance. Respiratory training programs are also available at an additional cost.
